A Comancheros bikie boss was “non-compliant” when officers got here to arrest him in Sydney yesterday, police have stated.
Detective Superintendent Danny Doherty stated the apprehension of nationwide Comancheros sergeant-at-arms Tarek Zahed was a “excessive danger arrest”.
Zahed, 42, has been charged with homicide and kidnapping.
Doherty confirmed that beanbag rounds had been used to get into the automotive so police might cuff Zahead.
He stated police suspected it was attainable that Zahed, or the person he was within the automotive with, might have been armed.
“He was being non-compliant and would not get out of the automotive,” Doherty stated.
