Two folks and a cat died in a home fireplace in Mar Vista early Wednesday, in accordance with the Los Angeles Hearth Division.
Hearth crews responding to a 911 hang-up name about 2:22 a.m. discovered a 1,096-square-foot, single-story house on fireplace within the 3500 block of South Might Avenue, in accordance with a Hearth Division information launch. Further crews have been assigned.
The flames have been totally extinguished by 2:50 a.m.
First responders discovered a person and a girl lifeless inside the house, in addition to their pet cat. The ages of the 2 folks and their relationship are nonetheless being decided.
